Because books in print form are Awesome!

This is an interesting article about how popularity of e books does not extend itself to children's books. The article talk about how parent who like e books still prefer print form for there children. I thought it was worth a mention because I can not count the number of times people have said to me that Libraries are extent and with information technologies no longer relevant. This article just proves that people still prefer book form.


I believe that as a librarian, I should embrace e books and print books equally. I don't understand why it has to be one or the other. Why can't we have both?

Library Science Film Festival- Just for fun

A really good book

As a librarian I spend most of my time recommending books. For this class I have read some really good articles and books but I thought I would dedicate this blog post to one of the best books on leadership that I have read. The book is called "Leadership the Elanor Roosevelt Way"

I believe that the book can be a good supplement tool for the readings we do in class. The book written by Robin Gerber examines Roosevelt's life and challenges and develops strategies to becoming a leader. The book is geared towards women, which I liked. The book even has a chapter about how motherhood helps train women to be future leaders. I highly recommend this book .
